Here’s a quick look at demographic changes at Metro. Riveting, really. The bigger story (I should get off my ass and write about) is my vague theory on the rise in the older white/African-American male: ex-soldiers and the downturn’s unemployed trying to improve their lot. While the article quotes only one soldier, I talked to several guys who had recently returned from tours in Iraq.
